Active membership can be applied for by companies authorized in Liechtenstein or in the European Economic Area (EEA) that manage, custody, administer, or represent collective investment vehicles. This primarily includes UCITS management companies, AIFMs and depositaries.
Passive membership can be applied for by asset managers, insurance companies, auditors, lawyers, trustees, and all natural and legal persons engaged in the fund business.
