The Liechtenstein Bankers’ Association was founded in 1969 by the three Liechtenstein banks existing at the time. Since its foundation, it has been safeguarding the interests of the associated banks towards the government, the authorities, the public as well as national and international organisations and associations, and has coordinated the joint activities of the member banks. The Executive Committee comprises the Executive Board with a maximum of eight members. The affairs of the association are managed by the Secretariat and the Managing Director.
